Public Information Session on Community Services in East Saint John
Residents invited to attend a public information session on community services in East Saint John
A public information session on community service development in East Saint John will be held on September 16, 2026 at Glen Falls School.
Hosted by the City of Saint John Community Development staff, the session will share highlights of the East Side Community Service Evaluation conducted in 2025. The purpose of the evaluation was to better understand the strengths, gaps, and opportunities in the delivery of programs and services in East Saint John, ranging from recreation, arts and wellness to support services and food security.
Staff aim to guide a resident-led approach to service enhancement and delivery following successful models in other city neighbourhoods. The information session will include presentations from two community service providers: P.U.L.S.E. (People United for the Lower South End) and the Carleton Community Centre. The two non-profit organizations will share their approach and experience in serving the residents of their communities.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity to share feedback, learn about next steps and ways to become involved in the process.
