City of Saint John Harbour Passage Extension

This project will extend from the intersection of Broad Street and Carmarthen Street to the entrance of Rockwood Park.

Designed to match the comfort and convenience of the current Harbour Passage trail, this extension will offer a safe, accessible, and enjoyable experience for people walking, running, cycling, and rolling.

The Harbour Passage extension will include:

· Upgraded pathways that are accessible for people of all ages and abilities

· Additional pedestrian lighting

· New rest plazas and refreshed landscaping

By extending the Harbour Passage multi-use trail, this project will create an important new link in the City’s Active Transportation Network while adding welcoming public spaces that are safe and accessible for people to move, gather, and enjoy.
