Shape Your Budget

As the City of Saint John embarks upon developing and preparing the 2025 Annual Operating Budget, a new public engagement platform called Shape Your Budget has been launched in order to help inform and guide this process.

The feedback received from Shape Your Budget will help Common Council and City staff better understand what priorities are most important to its residents, and what level of funding should be directed to maintain, increase, or decrease service levels within the City of Saint John.

Please fill out the section at the bottom of this page, tell us about your spending priorities and leave your comments. Results of the survey will be posted online in the fall.

The City of Saint John is inviting residents to an upcoming in-person engagement session as it seeks input from the public to help shape the next municipal budget.

This engagement session follows the launch of the Shape Your Budget page on Shape Your City Saint John last month to help City staff better understand what spending priorities are most important to residents.

The public engagement session is taking place on Wednesday, July 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 16 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers.
